Fishing has been good and should remain that way until the season close.  For the fly fisherman, damsels are still out in good numbers but the best bet has been on leech patterns.  Fishing from shore will be possible again after a few good hard freezes knock out some of the suspended vegetation.  Trolling leech patterns for larger aggressive trout has been the most popular method here but there are still fish on the surface early and late in the day.  Evening risers should be pretty consistent through the close of the season.  Throw a hopper or large ant pattern along the shoreline vegetation for the occasional mid-day surface slam.  Spin anglers have been doing well with smaller spoons and rapalas.  We should continue to see quality fish from Knott through the season close.
