Fish have been biting pretty well both from shore and around the lake despite the colder conditions.  Anglers from shore have been using nightcrawlers, chicken liver, sardines and lug worms for stripers and have had best luck off the rocks in front of the boat shop and along the canal by the entrance booth.  Catfish have also been biting from the rocks and in coves around the lake, bait and wait style.  Stripers can also be caught off points of the coves and walls along the shorelines.  bass have been biting more plastic baits or worms along the bottom, drop shot or Texas rigs work well in coves and along the shoreline for both lare and smallmouth.
