When it rains, steelhead fishing on the Smith River can be really good!

Recent storms and lots of rain have brought fresh runs of bright chrome steelies into the river.

On Tuesday of this week we hooked 9 fresh steelhead, making for an awesome day on the water!

The Smith River is a fast-clearing waterway, where water levels quickly rise and fall as storms come through. And right now, the river in great shape.

It looks like we'll have a bit of a break in the weather, so fishing for the next few days should be ideal. The weather and water levels are looking good, and there are lots of fresh bright steelhead in the river.

If you want to catch some of those nice bright Smith River steelhead, we still have a couple of weeks left of really good fishing with chrome fish. Give us a call at 800-995-5543 and come on up!
