Things are starting to heat up out here. We are starting to get a different grade of fish coming in from the ocean. Also some good signs of bass pushing bait up on the surface, we got one small shot of them too.
We finished up with 16 Halibut to 13 pounds also releasing another 40 fish. There was 8 strip bass taken as well. Although the trolling is very effective we are still Day to day waiting on the live bait. I hear the NW wind blows it into the bay, lets all keep our fingers crossed it shows up soon!

The California Dawn operates out of Berkeley Marina. We are the the only boat in the bay area with a hot galley. If you would like to go fishing with us please call (510) 417-5557. For more information please visit our website www.californiadawn.com.
