Another very warm day on the Delta. Had 50 fish by 830am and was excited to maybe hit the first 100 fish mark of the season. When the bite slowed we ran to look at another area but quickly left as it was crowded and we only hooked a few fish. As we returned to the 'hot spot" it was non stop action again and before we realized, our 3 anglers and myself put 200 fish in the boat with half...yes... 100 of those fish being keepers. It was all about the spoon today and they were choking it down! Now is the time to get on our trips. I'll only be booking till the end of May before I head down to Emeryville to run the Tigerfish for the salmon season.
