The New Lo-An called in with a Bluefin Tuna fish count into the double digits with a couple fish hanging. Captain Adam reported these fish to be in the 50-90 pound range...

The American Angler called in with 5 Bluefin Tuna on deck this morning. Captain Brian reported nice signs of fish in the area and is optimistic about their opportunities for the afternoon...

The Chief called in this morning with a report of hooking a couple 200+ pound Bluefin. The fish were unfortunately lost after some epic battles. Please remember to bring your heavy 2 speed setups along with the rest of your gear when fishing for these Bluefin...

The Point Loma called in with 99 Rockfish and 13 Sculpin for their AM 1/2 Day trip.

Upcoming Local Trips:

The 1/2 day boat Daily Double departs at 8:30 am for fishing at the local kelp beds and other hot spots. Ticket price is $52 for adults, $42 for seniors or active duty military and $37 for juniors. Return time is around 2:30 pm. A California fishing license will be additional. No passport required for this trip.
 
The Mission Belle is scheduled daily for full day trip to the Coronado Islands. This trip will be targeting Yellowtail, Bonito, Bass and Rockfish. A valid passport or passport card is required for all passengers going on the trip. Ticket price includes your Mexican fishing license, tourist visa and biosphere bracelet.

Captain Brian on the American Angler just called in with a prliminary report from their 1.5 day trip. They have caught 5 Bluefin Tuna (the biggest is 138lbs) and 2 Yellowtail. He said there is a great sign of the nice Bluefin in the area and they have very calm weather.   Departing Thursday: The El Capitan departs at 7:00pm for a 1.5 day trip.
