Bass Bite Has Been Good

Smallmouth and largemouth have both been biting very well on various baits over the last few weeks at Pyramid. Anglers have been catching bass along the shorelines and throughout coves around the lake, throwing hard plastic baits such as crank baits and jerk baits up shallow and also soft plastic adits throughout the coves either Texas Rig or drop shot have been working well.

People ave also been catching tons of stripers and catfish both from shore and along sandy shorelines and coves around Pyramid. Stripers have been biting chicken liver, lugworms and nightcrawlers very frequently along the rip rap in from fo the boat shop and along the channel by the entrance booth. Now that grade is starting to grow throughout the coves, tons of bluegill and crappie can be found along the grand lines as well.

Throughout the past week, multiple species have been biting very well on various baits both from shore and throughout the lake. Stripers, bass, catfish and trout have all been biting very well throughout the week all over the lake! People have been catching tons of stripers and catfish from shore, mainly along the rip rap area in front of the boat shop along the channel by the entrance booth using lugworms, nightcrawlers, sardines and chicken liver.
