What a great week for fishing! The weather was windy and rainy but that didn’t stop the anglers. On May 26, 24 bass were caught on white and chartreuse spinner bait. On the same day another angler caught 3 bass on Kastmasters and 6 bass on rattle traps and Rapalas. Bass and crappie are in sunken trees and deep water. A trout was caught by a young girl using nightcrawlers and it was 20 inches and 3 pounds. One May 27 a 13 year old girl caught a 5.62 pound trout on green power bait off the shore at the buoy line. Another young girl caught a 14 inch trout on power bait. It was all about the girls this weeK!

Fishing is picking up! On May 19, a young angler and his father caught a bunch of trout, bass and crappie on night crawlers off of the rocky shore. 2 good sized catfish were caught in Harvery’s Cove on night crawlers.
