Bridgeport has still kicking out some good fish, some up to around 8 pounds. It doesn’t seem like the numbers are super high but the quality is there. Trollers have been successful with needlefish, crawlers, Thomas Bouyants and Rapalas, bait anglers have been doing well with pinched crawlers, inflated crawlers, powerbait and mice tails. There has still been some success from the shore as well down near the dam with anglers reporting some fish being caught with bait down there. Haven’t heard much from the fly anglers lately but stripping streamers or crawfish patterns should produce some fish either down near the dam or out in front of the marina. Also, the Bridgeport Fish Enhancement Foundation is having their annual derby on June 22, great fun for the whole family!
