Shasta Lake lights up!
Shasta Lake - Shasta Lake, CA (Shasta County)
by Jeff Goodwin
And just like that, Shasta Lake sees its best fishing in months! Numerous multi pound rainbows and browns caught today by todays clients. We saw a good early bite and then it shut down pretty hard. Thats the big moon pattern we see every month during summer on Shasta Lake. Wait it out and keep fishing because it turns back on again and its usually a big fish bite. There were shad in the big fish which is a great sign for the days ahead. Finally, the day we've been waiting for has arrived.
