The bass are jumping, the bluegill are everywhere, the water is warming up and the parking lot is full again at El Capitan!

Top water in the morning and afternoon. The afternoon bite is excellent. Bass are hitting on shad like crazy!

Bass are top water in the morning, then 10-20 feet deep the rest of the day. Drop shot, Texas rig and whacky are the way to go. Anglers are averaging about 4-5 bass each.
