It has been a beautiful week out here at the lake. The fish have been very active! Alessandro Island is still the favored spot to go to for bluegill and bass! We have been getting reports of bass, bluegill, crappie, catfish and carp. Please report your catches to the marina… Happy Fishing!

The lake is full and the algae warming/advisories have been removed. We are starting to see more catfish. Bluegill and bass are still doing well, reports are coming in from the island and the Marina Dock. One of our young anglers caught a 7.3 pound bass off the dock on Sunday. Good job Trisan! It has been a beautiful week out here at lake. The water is clearing up and is full! Fishing has been great. We finally have a catfish reported, it was caught off of the east end of the lake and weighted in at a little over 15lbs. Crappie have been doing really well, most reports are coming in from right off the dock. The bass don’t seem to be slowing down, they’ve been averaging at about 3-4 lbs. Hope to...... Read More
