Tons of bass, trout and catfish being caught from the rip rap in front of the boat shop and throughout the coves  found around the lake. Weedless set ups have been working the best for largemouth and smallmouth using senkos and flukes or even drop shot roboworms or nightcralwers throughout the day to get bit. Some top water baits have also been working in the first few hours of the day and frog-style baits as well. Trout have still been biting in the first couple coves past the marina, Spanish Point, and bear traps on various baits, mainly worms, mice tails and power baits have been top baits. Stripers have been caught by trolling A-rigs, spooning and also sinking bait like chicken liver, sardines or anchovies up to 50 feet deep by the island off points . Some anglers have also have luck with top waters for stripers first thing in the morning.
