A good outing on the bluefin today after some night time prospecting got us relocated. Indeed the extra hours after dark revealed that late in the day yesterday we were off the main vein. This morning was a different story. And again while the bigger fish and their smaller brethren did not bite with complete abandon, that day is still yet to come, we managed to stop twice on good spots that hung around, put on a hell of a show, and gave us our shots. In beautiful calm weather amongst a wealth of new faces and friends it was a fine day of fishing; exactly what we aim to accomplish on these shorter runs.

On that note we do plan to add a few more three and four day voyages to the 2020 Royal Star schedule due to be published/posted on our website soon. We look forward to the opportunity to fish with more anglers venturing their first long range voyages and/or their first voyage on Royal Star. I encourage any and all anglers who have yet to make a Royal Star voyage to give us a try. I am one hundred percent confident that our distinct brand of long range fishing will introduce you to a whole new level of fishing professionalism. I am equally confident in my belief that once you do make a voyage with us it will not be your last.

Our combined 90 plus years of experience behind the helm and owner operated fornula guarantees Royal Star clients that an experienced professional with a life investment in this fishery leads every voyage. From the big picture of fishing strategy to the minute details of premium fish handling and customer service our committment to the excellence of every aspect of our operation is unmatched. I look forward to seeing many more new faces on our additional three and four day voyages in 2020 and beyond. These last couple of weeks I have spent on board meeting and fishing with many new Royal Star anglers have been my sincere pleasure!

Final trip photo features a long time long range veteran new to Royal Star Dallas Lamb with his hard earned 80 pound class bluefin tuna.
