Well we have made it past the official end of the summer season, the Labor Day weekend. Fishing continues to be solid at Lake Almanor with good numbers of the lake's Rainbow Trout coming to the net. This is a fantastic time of year to be fishing Almanor, as you are likely to still have great weather, great fishing and not many people on the water, it's a magical thing.

Eagle Lake trips will begin in just a few short weeks. This year as in years past we will be splitting the fall season, fishing both Almanor and Eagle. Eagle Lake is shaping up to have some pretty exciting fall fishing this year. It doesn't get any better than battling the hot Rainbows in the shallows.

If all this sounds like something you want to get in on (and who wouldn't) we have some open dates during September, October and November to get you out and on the fish.  If you are not already on the books, don't wait and miss your opportunity, these available dates will go fast. Please visit the Reservation Page or call us at (530)370-1001

Currently we are fishing the open water with the lightest gear on the boat. Big strikes followed by blistering runs and some pretty spectacular aerobatics, the stuff that fishing memories are made of. This is light tackle trophy trout fishing at its finest and suited to anglers of all ages and skill levels.
