The weather got better the last few days so anglers tried for Salmon again. There were a few fish caught near the bottom on the west side of the Soquel Hole in 200 feet of water. The Pajaro area had cool water but no action. There were some Salmon caught near the bottom at Mulligan Hill. The Halibut fishing was good in Capitola and near the Santa Cruz wharf. The Squid has come into Capitola so the Halibut are on the bite. There have been a few Sea Bass caught on swim baits near Pleasure Point. The Striped Bass are biting near the balls of Anchovies on the beaches south of Manresa. There is a rumor of Albacore being caught 80 miles out of Morro Bay! Get ready for a wild summer!
