Walleye fishing on the Columbia River has been picking up the past couple weeks. It has been pretty decent fishing on the days when the wind isn't blowing to hard. This past couple weeks has been windy with big west winds which makes it hard to fish the walleye. The river flow is high and will continue for several weeks with the big rains and snow pack. It will help with hood river flows going into fall.
Trophy sturgeon is good right now with the shad run coming through and fresh shad for bait. This fishery wiill continue early August. The average fish is 6-10 feet in length. Our average triip is 4 fish to the boat in a day.
Steelhead are running in the smaller rivers along with the Columbia that just opened the 16th of June. I will be running drift boat and jet sled trips through  the  summer months.
