Wide open Halibut bite today!
We finished up a little early with full limits for the whole boat and crew. Stopped off on the way in and threw in a few bass.
Final count
51 halibut (17 limits) to 21 pounds
Just got off the phone with Captain Shawn on the New El Dorado 3. He’s still fishing but was sitting around 14 salmon to 29 pounds and 2 halibut for his 16 anglers.
Fish are averaging today around 15 pounds.
I have a light load going out in the morning on the E3. We have room for salmon all week.
