Many anglers have been having luck catching Catfish on various cut baits in the coves and off sandy ledge throughout the lake. Chicken liver, mackerel and anchovies have been working the best over the past couple of weeks both around the lake and from the shoreline. People have also been catching stripers along the rip rap in front of the boat shop, the patins past the swim beach and the canal by the entrance booth on lugworms and mackerel lately.

Largemouth and Smallmouth bass have been biting very consistently all around the lake up towards the shoreline on various soft plastic baits, smaller crank baits and swimbaits. The drop shot method with either a roboworm or a nightcrawler has been very effective off sandy banks and points of the lake. Jigs or senkos have also been great baits to get bit throughout the day.
