August bite is still good. Catfish are being caught all over the lake from shore and also from a rental boat fishing bottom with mackerel or a night crawler. Catching limits before 12pm daily.

The crappie bite is still active with the crappie being caught off of any bottom structure or find them chasing bait balls in open waters being suspended at around 25 feet. Catching the crappie on jigs and red worms. All colors are hitting.

Trout are better hitting in the early morning or later towards the early evenings with night crawlers, trolling with spinner baits and kastmasters as well. Bass are being caught off of everything from top water in the mornings with a frog bite or using that slow moving ned rigs and drop shot of course is always a great way to find a good fish bite.
