Dropping, watch for rain

Start with a hopper.  If they don’t eat the hopper tie on a dropper.  If they don’t eat the dropper, switch to a streamer.  If they don’t eat the streamer, THEN you can rig up the nymph rig…unless they are still actively rising.  In that case, tie on a PMD or Pseudo mayfly dry for the morning hatch, or caddis in the evening.    Trico spinners may be showing up in the afternoons on the lower reaches.  Keep an eye on water temps and call it quits above 66 degrees.Prince Nymphs and variants 14-18, Napoleon Jig 14-18RIO’s Raindrop 14-16.
