Discounted Winter Rates

Spring Creeks
With lower daily rod fees ($40 per rod) if you live in the area or visit this winter, this is a great time to learn the creeks. GRG owner, Pat Straub, is intimately familiar with all of the area's spring creeks. Pat has been guiding the spring creeks for nearly 15 years now and winter-time is a special time on the creeks. Want to fish a day on the creeks with Pat, do it now...and do it for our low winter guided trip rates.

Gallatin River winter solitude
Many of our loyal customers know the Gallatin is a great winter fishery, so get out there and see for yourself. From Logan to YNP, or local freestone is typically ice-free and sees hatches of blue winged olives and midges throughout the next few months.

Upper Madison River winter solitude
This river's reputation for crowds is thrown-out the window for the next few months. In fact, some of our customers will no doubt be mad we are even mentioning the Upper Madison as our winter-time option...however, there is plenty of water to always a find a good spot. Streamer and dry fly fishing is consistently good. Our main word of advice: fish with some one who knows the river, as even though the crowds are gone, it is still the Upper Madison and local knowledge is paramount. If you want a guide, our rates are a lot less in winter.
