Feather River Fish Report

Feather River - Oroville, CA

by Nor Cal Fish Reports

Salmon bite is slow on the lower river. Steelhead bite is very good. Numbers are great. Egg patterns in pink or orange work well. Use a bird’s nest (#14) above the egg. Steelhead range from 12 inches to 8 pounds are being caught throughout the Oroville Wildlife Area. Bigger fish are below the outlet. Bring a lot of gear – salmon jacks will bite and break you off.  Huntington’s Sportsmen’s Store (530) 534-8000
