Great week for fishing! Spotted and large mouth bass along with trout were the top reported catches this week. Bass were pulled in all along the Narrows, the Lancha Plana bridge area, down the river and out off of Eucalyptus near the new island. Trout was reeled in from the main lake, Causeway Cove and out by the dam. The pond continues to impress with the large number of 6 plus pounders.

Top reported baits this week were power bait at the pond, spoons, wacky worms, Texas rig and drop shot on the lake.

Tempuratures are forecasted to be in the upper 60's to mid 70's,cloudy to partly cloudy throughout the week with a chance of rain. Overnight temps in the upper 40's & 50's.

Lake Camanche's current elevation is 197.32 ft. above sea level. Water temperature at the launch ramps is approximately 59 degrees and the lake is 43% full. The inflow from Lake Pardee is currently 11 c.s.f. and the outflow from Lake Camanche is currently 326 c.s.f.

Hot Spots, Hot Baits! Both bass and trout of very respectable sizes were hauled in this week. The top bass weighed in at 12.95 lbs and top trout was 14.64 lbs. The Bass are biting! Spotted bass anglers at every corner of the lake where old vegetation was sticking up. Hot spots for trolling was for trout was by the dam and Causeway Cove. Catfish was pulled in out at Houseboat Cove. The trout pond was as popular as ever with several trout being pulled in over 6 lbs.
