Hello from your Lake Jennings!
The bite continues for trout with plenty of inventory but as the season changes so should your fishing tactics. As the water warms up trout will move around slowly going deeper in search of cooler water so try free lining a nightcrawler or a very slow troll. As you can see from the "Notables" trout have moved out of the coves and were being caught off the deep end of the Fishing Float/T-Dock.

Bass are around but their mouths are sealed shut. No reports for panfish or catfish.

Keep watching for the Catfish stocking schedule.

Spring Break was a great time at Lake Jennings with the weekends sold out and high occupancy during the week as campers had full access around the lake.

Hello from your Lake Jennings! The Bass bite was hit and miss over the past week. The early morning bite is in about 25-35' and the late afternoon bite seems to move up some. A sudden increase in bait is picked up on fish finders which could contribute to the slow bite. Catfish limits were caught but only a few anglers have been fishing them and no reports of Sunfish. Trout continue to be caught with plenty of inventory but most...... Read More
