The Hi-Count returned from a 2 passenger 3/4 day offshore trip with 5, 35# Bluefin Tuna that started biting at 6 AM. The bite was 4.5 miles from Point Loma. We then chased a jumbo school of 100#-200# Bluefin Tuna around but with no luck. We tried the kite in various manners but they still eluded us. We were however treated to the sight of huge tail fins sticking out of the water, and a color spot of shiners, lazing across the surface. When they bite, we will be there with all of our custom gear. Oh yeah, did I mention that this was a 3/4 day trip? We are out the next several days and we plan to keep the ball rolling.
