Salmon hot at Shelter Cove

Its kinda hard to believe that the salmon bite could be much better than yesterday, but todays bite was absolutely lights out. The first person that put his rod in the water ... finished out the day by pulling on some rock cod. Although the cod action was pretty slow we managed to scratch up enough white meat to send everyone home with a full bag.

Wednesday Fishing Party

The salmon bit pretty well for us today. By about 12:00 we were finished up with our salmon and went in search of some rock cod. The drift was perfect and we found a much more productive bite than yesterdays. 7-24-15 The ocean was much nicer today and the salmon were in a biting mood. We finished up with our 14 salmon just before noon and since we still had some time we gave the rock cod ... while to get going and the first five hookups were all silvers.
