We are on our way in from Santa Rosa Island. The weather was OK, but the current was smoking all day.

We started out in the deeper water caught some really nice chuckleheads. We fished in the deeper water until the current chased us away. We went shallow and we never really got out of the current but it was manageable in 150 feet of water. In shallow water the jigs and plastic worked very well.  

Our 17 anglers caught 168 rockfish, 9 Ling cod, 28 ocean white fish, 2 cabazon, 5 sheep head.
