The Mazatlan dorado bite continues with quality, trophy sized dorado
catches to 55-60 lbs. and averaging about 4 per boat, per day.
Overall catches reflected for 19 days fished resulted in 4 sailfish,
5 mako sharks, 9 yellowfin tuna and 77 dorado. The inshore super
pangas, reporting for 3 days fished, reflected 3 pargo, 15 mojarres
and 27 dorado.
MAZATLAN CLIMATE: Mostly cloudy with temps from 74 nights to 91 daytime highs, a little humid.
Sea Conditions: Very good, mostly calm with light tropical surface breezes and temps from 84-85 degrees throughout the area
Best Fishing Area: Dorado catches remain along the current line at about 8-10 miles.
Best Bait/Lure: The ballyhoo continue to be the best bait for the dorado while rigged mullet best on the sails.
