There was an error in our latest story about fishing aboard Bill Poole's Excel, noted by at least one sharp-eyed reader. Interestingly, Horizon and Ocean Odyssey dock near one another at H&M Landing.

"You stated the Horizon was formerly the Blackjack. Not true, the Ocean Oddessy was formerly the Blackjack. I worked on her in the 80s out of Redondo. I'm not sure what the Horizon was before, but certainly not the Blackjack."
