Very few anglers were enjoying the "Thanksgiving day" at San Quint??n that was almost in calm with light winds and with warm days, weather too different 200 miles at North.

We monitored four boats in two days, Pelicano, Paloma, La Pinta and Fanny that hosted nine fishermen. A total of 126 fishes were caught, 34 of those were yellowtail from 17 to 25 pounds (5-6 per angler in two boats), also 33 vermilion rockfish, 27 brown rockfish, 16 whitefish, 5 bocaccios, 4 lingcods, two bonitos, three starry rockfish, one flag rockfish, and one cooper rockfish.

In general, 31-32 fishes per boat were caught and 14 fishes per angler. The 240 spot continues as a good and preferred fishing place for yellowtail and vermilions.

In this November, I enjoyed paprika crab claws, breadcrumbs Pismo clams and Clamato drinks at Jardines Baja Restaurant, with my wife Claudia Vasquez-Yeomans.

See you in December, this year was gone as the wind.
