Hello all, January 10-12 marks yet another set of our winter King tides. Storms moving in will bring large ocean swells and rainfall that will impact these already extreme tides, adding anywhere from 2ft – 5ft more water to the exchange. Mariners and beach goers should always exercise caution. Don’t turn your back to the ocean as these conditions can breed sneaker waves, high surf, and bring in large drift logs. As alluring as it can be to stand and watch the ocean work her magic, be sure to always be on the lookout for potential hazards.
