The Salmon bite was slow this morning but there were a few fish caught in the afternoon. The majority of the fish were caught working the edge of the Soquel Hole. There were some nice fish caught trolling Anchovies 160-250 feet down. The west side of the Soquel Hole had some limits caught on the bottom in 260-280 feet of water. The low pressure may have turned off the bite. The weather was nice all day. The Rock fishing was good in the deep water near Wilder Beach. The Halibut are still being caught near the Mile Buoy and Capitola. The Striped Bass are still being caught near Manresa and New Brighton.
