The fishing for Salmon was hit and miss around the Soquel Hole. There were some fish caught near the bottom in 220-280 feet of water. The anglers near the sand plant caught some Salmon in 160 feet of water. The Salmon were caught 90-120 feet down. The Halibut fishing is getting better near the Mile Buoy, Capitola, and Pajaro. The Rock fishing has been great. The Striped Bass and Halibut are showing up near the wharfs due to all the bait fish moving in. There are Anchovies from 30-160 feet of water. I would bet if you trolled in 120-160 feet of water you would catch some Salmon. The wind and swell is down. Have a great Memorial Day!
