This fish report is from Pete Hillis, reporting out of Pedro's Pangas, San Quintin, Baja Mexico for the week ending 9/3/09.

We had 15 boats out this week under great weather, nice and hot with calm seas. As of today, no fall out from the projected storm down south. Mexican TV said we might get a little rain in our area today and tomorrow (Thursday and Friday). Nothing to report on the outside fishing because the white seabass are wide open at Soccorro. We also are getting a few yellowtail mixed in and there is a large school of thresher sharks in the area for some extra fun. The white seabass are running between 30 and 50 lbs on the average and still prefer large chrome crocs or live bait.
