Smaller stripers have been boiling throughout the early morning hours around Spanish Point, Yellowbar, and Serrano areas of the lake biting up towards the surface of the water on Kastmasters, top waters, and smaller soft plastic baits like flukes and paddle tail baits. Cut bait throughout the day has been working well for Stripes and Catfish off points and deep down within coves around the lake. Anchovies, Sardines, Mackerel and Lugworms have been working well either weightless to drift with the currents or with a heavy sinker to be able to fish deeper water and manage the winds.

Bass have been biting throughout the day on soft plastics or creature baits like senkos, jigs and flukes hooked up weightless to fish throughout the grasslines. In the earlier morning hours, top waters and jerkbaits have been working well along with underspin setups.
