The Ultra has another dream day with yellowtail between 20-35 pounds. Brian reported 20 fish on the deck at 9 am with more boiling around the boat. He said that he expects to get a few more for his 5 anglers on board. I am still trying to get the Amigo out leaving tonight at 10pm fishing tomorrow and a Trip leaving Weds night fishing Thursday. Mike Thompson will be running the trips. Both trips limited to 18 anglers at a price of $140. This might be a good time to get out on a weekday trip. I was told that a new batch of squid has popped up at the islands. The live squid has been the key to good yellowtail and white sea bass fishing as of late.

5-15-2006Hey we just got word that the Ultra has between 20-25 big yellowtail on their overnight trip today (2:30 pm Monday May 15) . These fish are the bigger models with many more fish lost. They had 8 anglers on their trip. This was communicated to me via another captain so I don't have all of the details.
