The reservoir is frozen with 5-6 inches of new ice. The roads were covered with eight inches of snow, but travelable using four-wheel drive. Recent reports indicate fast fishing for 10-12 inch rainbow trout and brook trout, with the occasional fish up to 17 inches. Small tungsten jigs, tubes and jigging spoons in chartreuse tipped with half a mealworm or Gulp maggot worked best. Target these fish in 10-12 feet of water.
