Clearwater River - Idaho
by Eric Wilcox
We went out to play in the snow for a bit yesterday. It was snowing to beat the band but it was a nice calm 32° at least and quite comfortable. Lacy McClintock Wilcox and I ended up hooking 5 fish in quite short order! Here's a nice buck I landed side drifting before we started hooking them on plugs. The Clearwater River in Idaho is fishing very consistent this winter! The weather forecast is wrong, it's warmer every day than forecasted and at this week's end is going into the 40's! Here at Swiftwater Outfitters we have availability, open dates from now through spring mid March. You can't call it from the couch folks! Message for availability and prices and book a trip before the best Steelhead run in over a decade is over!
