Anglers had another very successful week at the lake, despite thunderstorms rolling in and out, and tropical storm Hillary.

We had quite a few huge lunkers coming out at 8 or 9 pounds.  Using inflated night crawlers, and garlic power bait have once again been the best baits to choose this week.  Thomas Buoyants,Tasmanian Devils, and Kastmasters have been best for trolling.  The trout have been hitting all around the lake with a few of the trophy size coming from the jetty area.

We are excited to remind all of our fishing fans that Ambush at the Lake Fall Derby will start on August 25th and continue through the end of the fishing season which is November 15th.  Catch one 14-inch fish and you will be entered into a drawing worth over $6000 in prizes!

The entry fee is $16 which includes a 2023 annual pin and your very own 14-inch ruler.
