We have some exciting news this week! Our local angler, Zachary Meyer, took a trip to Lake Mohave on Cornman's boat, captained by Mark Osgood. They were trolling near the power lines, and Zachary was using a swim bait when he hooked a fantastic striper. This impressive fish weighed in at 7.32 pounds and measured 28 and 1/2 inches.

Currently, there's a fishing tournament happening on the lake, with anglers targeting both large and smallmouth bass. Lake Mohave boasts a healthy population of these fish, and even our local anglers are seizing the opportunity to pursue them. If you're looking for a delicious meal, the striper bite is the way to go.

Below the Davis Dam, we're finding stripers of various sizes. Generally, the smaller fish tend to be more aggressive in taking the bait, but there are larger ones out there too. Our recent striper derby proved that there are some sizable catches waiting for those who are well-prepared. Make sure you tie a good knot and set your drag properly.

There have been some promising reports indicating that the area near the Parkway Bridge is producing some substantial strippers. Additionally, we shouldn't overlook the fact that our local trout plat and rainbow trout are being stocked and are ready for all you trout anglers.

We hope this information is helpful for now, and we look forward to seeing you soon to share your latest catch and stories. Most importantly, we want to express our gratitude for all your support. Now, go catch a fish at Rusty Riviera Marina!
