This week the DFWL had a scheduled trout plant here. There have been numerous trout plants over the last two months. Anglers have been scoring trout with minijigs, spinners, pinched crawlers and garlic scented Powerbait. The next trout plant is scheduled for the week of February 25th by DFWL The Bass action is improving in the warmer weather and can be found with drop shot, crankbaits and jigs. One of our contacts reported scoring bass with drop shot and Senkos in green pumpkin and shad profiles. Bluegill and baby bass swimbaits have been finding a few takers too. Bluegill have been going for wax worms, meal worms and red worms. Crappie have been best in the late afternoon with minijigs and live shiners.
