Just days before Long Beach Sport Fishing's annual Pot of Gold Halibut Derby Kickoff on the January 17th we are seeing some very strong halibut counts & some very large fish being brought in. Just a reminder the departure is 9am for the 1st week then starting week 2 we will be switching back to 8am. Call for reservations at 562-432-8993. It will run Wednesday thru Sunday with any make up days on Mon. or Tue.

HOT YELLOWTAIL FISHING!!! ELDORADO on their last overnite trip got 30 Yellowtail. Today the Native Sun was out on the POT OF GOLD HALIBUT DERBY they caught 19 halibut, 12 which were released. The biggest of the day weighed in at 31.05 pounds, the second biggest was 17.15 pounds. The Liberty has a full day fishing Catalina Island they will be targeting the elusive White Sea Bass this trip only cost $45.
