Catalina is on fire. The fire started around 12:30 PM. There is a mandatory evacuation of Avalon as the fire is encroaching on the historic town. We are very concerned about our friends on Santa Catalina Island. We pray for their safety and hope that in the morning we get some good news about this tragedy.
