MAMMOTH LAKES BASIN UPDATE!
The Mammoth Lakes Basin (Lake Mark Road) will open to vehicle traffic this Friday, May 23 at 7:00am.
Twin Lake Campground with be open this weekend! However, other campground openings within the Lakes Basin have been delayed until June 6, due to snow levels.
Please be aware that most of the trails within the area are still covered in snow, so be prepared for winter conditions. Picnic areas and day use sites will be limited.
PRO TIP: Skip the parking hassle and enjoy the scenic ride, take the Lakes Basin Trolley, which departs from The Village! It’s a fun, convenient, and highly encouraged way to explore the basin.
