Come to the Monday, Oct 21, CVMAC meeting at 6 pm to hear Flood Control's presentation of a proposed increase in revenue assessment and flood projects in the San Lorenzo Creek watershed on the creek and possibly at Don Castro Reservoir.

 

Friends of San Lorenzo Creek believes there is an obvious need to increase flood control revenue to fix a lot of unmet capital project needs. There is also an obvious need to mitigate fish barriers that the District constructed 60 years ago so that our trout can survive and steelhead and salmon can again swim up San Lorenzo Creek and spawn in the watershed. Note: All streams in the San Lorenzo Creek watershed are closed to fishing all year per California Freshwater Sport Fishing Regulations – Chapter 3, Article 2.7(e)(3).
