Fishing Conditions

Above Vallecito the flows are still a bit pushy, but cold and clear.

Below, the outflow of the dam has been raised, and fishing will be decent.  With the higher flows below, fishing a heavy nymph rig with worms, stonefly nymphs, and baetis is a good idea.

Patterns/Bug

Nymphs: Prince nymphs 14-18, Pat’s Rubberlegs 8-12 or Jigged Pats 8-12, Black and Blue Copper Johns 14-18, Pheasant tails 18-22, Juju Baetis 18-20, Disco Midge 18-20, Rainbow Warrior 18-22.  San Juan Worms.
