Vernon Reservoir is currently seeing low water levels that exceed losses experienced during irrigation deliveries set for normal precipitation periods. The DWR is hopeful that the majority of fish will survive during the summer drawdowns. However, due to current conditions, the DWR issued an emergency change to increase the fish limit to eight rainbow trout, eight brown trout and eight tiger trout effective immediately through Oct. 31, 2025. All other rules established in the 2025 Utah Fishing Guidebook remain in effect. You can learn more about the change here
