The California side of the EW is closed for Winter, just the Nevada side is open now. We haven't had any new news from the East Walker lately, it has been very cold here, if you watch the flows on the river you've noticed that it's been bumped up to about 33 cfs from 22 cfs, the reason for this is because it's been so cold the extra flow will help keep any "anchor ice" from growing on river bottom, this is strictly for the good health of the fish. When things start to warm up and we start getting some angling traffic down there we'll pass any information we get on to you.

 

We haven't had any news back from the ranch lately but will pass on anything we hear in the future

The West is open for catch and release barbless fishing for the Winter months, we haven't had any news from up there lately but if/when we do we'll pass it on!
