Blue Sky Cabo – 32' Luhrs Blue Star – 1 Marlin and 1 Sailfish Released

October 10, 2026 – 1 Marlin and 1 Sailfish – Cabo Fishing Report

An eight-hour corporate fishing charter aboard Blue Sky Cabo's 32-foot Luhrs Blue Star produced two billfish releases on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

Jared and Dominic, the group from Albuquerque, New Mexico, departed IGY Marina at 6:00 AM for private offshore fishing between Los Arcos and Pozo de Cota.

Villa del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa Cabo San Lucas is the featured local hotel reference. The guests' actual accommodation was not confirmed.

The charter produced one marlin and one sailfish, both caught and released, along with an additional marlin strike that did not result in a hookup.

Cabo Fishing Charter – Billfish Activity

The sailfish responded to trolled ballyhoo, while marlin activity involved artificial trolling lures and mackerel bait.

The original notes referenced striped and white marlin encounters, although the confirmed catch remained one marlin and one sailfish.

The crew also deployed a Tournament Dredge – Fish Attraction Device to imitate schooling baitfish and attract offshore predators.

With only two anglers aboard, Jared and Dominic enjoyed a personalized eight-hour fishing experience along Cabo's Pacific coastline.
